Paul and Betty Hiscock first met in Bible College as music students and were married upon graduation in 1971. They have spend their lives in full-time music ministry with Paul serving on pastor staff as Music Director for 30 years in an independent Baptist church in Indianapolis. During those years, various choirs were developed along with a church orchestra and hand bell choirs. Due to the great Bible preaching from the pulpit, the congregation enthusiastically sang the songs of salvation. Paul also served with other normal responsibilities such as teaching Sunday School, visitation, preaching, and a weekly radio program for many years.
Through the years, Paul furthered his education and began to produce and publish hymn-story programs for choir, under the name of Shepherd’s Staff Ministries”.
They have been privileged to travel throughout the U.S. and various mission fields with their “Sermon ‘n’ Song” ministry. Paul also serves as song leader at Hazelwood Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Rich. They live in Monrovia, Indiana (west of Indianapolis) and have four grown children and nine grandchildren. It’s a privilege to serve the Lord.
